Mere & Alex's Downtown Raleigh Date
Mere & Alex spent an afternoon walking around downtown Raleigh with me, stopping at some of their favorite spots to celebrate five years together and a few years of marriage. Winter gave us a rare stretch of sunshine, and despite the freezing temperatures, they happily bopped around town with me, heading over to Boylan Heights and grabbing coffees at Boulted Bread.
I loved getting to document this little season of their story through a mix of film and digital photography. There was lots of wandering, laughing, and soaking up the sunshine, with plenty of those quiet in-between moments that make couples sessions feel so personal.
As a Raleigh couples photographer, these are some of my favorite sessions to photograph. No big plans or elaborate setups, just the two of you spending time together somewhere that feels like you. Downtown Raleigh gave us the perfect backdrop for a winter afternoon together.
